How does the placement process work?
We start with a free consultation to understand your loved one's needs, preferences, budget, and care level. We then research and shortlist vetted options across the Eastside, help you tour and compare them, and stay involved through the decision and move-in so the transition is as smooth as possible.
How quickly can placement happen?
It depends on your situation. For families in crisis — after a hospital stay or a sudden change in health — we can often present suitable options within days and help with a move-in inside a week or two. When there's more time, we move at whatever pace feels right for your family.
What is an Adult Family Home?
An Adult Family Home is a licensed residential home, typically caring for up to six residents, that provides personalized, hands-on care in a true home setting. It's a warm, smaller-scale alternative to a large assisted living community — often ideal for seniors who want more individualized attention.
What's the difference between Assisted Living and Memory Care?
Assisted Living supports seniors who need help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, medication, and meals, while preserving their independence. Memory Care is a specialized, secured environment with specially trained staff and structured routines designed for people living with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other memory-related conditions.
